About Us
Sam’s Lawn Care was started in 2014 by an 8-year-old boy, Sam. Sam started off push mowing 5 yards that summer. Since then, his clientele has grown, his services have expanded and Sam has grown a bit! Over the 12 years, you may have seen Sam and his crew riding around Windsor, Colorado, on their engine-powered bicycles pulling custom-built landscape trailers. They’ve grown into trucks and trailers but their drive is still there! Feel free to stop them to inquire about what they can do for your lawn. Heck, stop them to chat!
Sam is the founder of SLC. He started the company young and is determined to operate a successful business that HE built. When not mowing, Sam spends time repairing equipment and watching baseball. He loves the outdoors and dreams of living in Alaska one day.
Crystal is SLC’s office manager. If you have called our number, you’ve probably talked with Crystal. She loves chatting with customers! Crystal’s hobbies include quilting, baking and reading. Give her a call, she would love to tell you about what SLC can do for you!
Colt was hired on at the ripe age of 8. He now runs his own mini bike and trailer full of equipment. He, like Sam, is very much into baseball. He also is a wiz at building 3D printers or anything mechanical. Colt is talkative and always has something to say. Stop him, he’ll give you his opinion on something!
Tucker is the youngest of the crew. He is a master of mowing and wants every blade of grass perfect. Tuck enjoys riding his scooter, playing baseball, and listening to music. He is a geography enthusiast – point to a map and he’s guaranteed to know the country, capital and probably even the flag!
Robert is Sam’s dad. He is an extremely important part of SLC. He has helped Sam with equipment, mowing, aeration and pretty much everything for the past 12 years. His first choice for the work is field-mowing. When Robert has free time (which is almost never) he can be found building things, camping and dreaming of tropical vacations.
James is entering his 3rd season with SLC. James is our go-to for trimming and jumps in wherever the team needs an extra hand to get the job done right. He enjoys fishing and working on his trucks in his free time.
Addie has moved on from SLC to embark on her own career, but you will occasionally see her help out on the weekends. She likes using the big mowers. Addie’s interests include attending concerts and photography and trying new coffee drinks!
